I think it’s quite cute to dress for an occasion, and not just for, but WITH. Taking the theme of where you are going/ what you are doing and using it as inspiration.
The sweater that prompted it all. I thought to myself when I saw this Bode sweater, “I wish I had a son. I wish he played baseball, so I could wear this to his games.” I suppose I could have also wished for a boyfriend in the major leagues, but baseball players have never been my type.
The Gucci Horsebit loafers are classic. I think that this pair of sage green loafers would do the trick as well.

I think showing up to your sons game in this Sea NY jersey is the ultimate cool mom move. I would pair with all black to give the jersey it’s moment, also, nothing is cooler than all black.
Ballet is so beautiful to me. When I was young, I felt so beautiful in my tulle skirt and ballet flats in ballet class. It’s become very easy and trendy to cosplay a ballerina, but I think this Altuzarra set is the perfect nod to ballerinas without being too on the nose. Pair it with a sweet flat and dainty bag, perfection!

Chloe and Khaite need no introduction. No closet is complete without a classic Chloe tank. It elevates even the simplest of outfits. The Khaite hobo bag is a tried and true. Pair with your favorite denim and sandal and you are set for a day in the sun!
Every mom’s favorite dress is from Doen. This one is the perfect summer shade. I threw a sweater in there to drape over your shoulders on a chilly evening. The Bottega sandals and bag are delicious!!!

This is one of my favorite outfits on the list. Effortless, cool, simple. Suzie Kondi makes the greatest basics. Pair it with Jenni Kayne, and you are in basics heaven!!
